You heard me: Angelina Jolie just bought a waterfall for Brad Pitt. Talk about an impressive gift!

I don't know about you, Bettys, but I can't even conceive of receiving something as monumental as my very own waterfall as a gift. Excessive? Probably. Romantic? Actually… kind of, yeah. Since Brad's birthday is shortly before Christmas (December 18), the waterfall served as both his 48th birthday and Christmas presents; and besides, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are just the kind of couple who would give each other natural formations as gifts, aren't they?

This does, however, open up the question for what exactly Brad is planning on doing with his newly-acquired waterfall. There's an easy answer for that: Now that he and Angie have sold their Malibu pad (to Ellen DeGeneres!), they're in need of a new house-so he's going to build one. Over the waterfall. Frank Lloyd Wright-style. Because why the heck not.

According to the Daily Mail, Brad wants to build an abode similar to Lloyd Wright's 1939 project Fallingwater, which is arguably the architect's most famous achievement. Brad and Angie visited Fallingwater in Pennsylvania in 2006 and have never forgotten their trip there. For those of you who have never seen it, it looks like this:

A source told the Daily Mail, "Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable. Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect. She hopes this will be a hideawat for the family. Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house." Most people would accomplish this effect by playing an ambient noise CD, but then again, Brad Pitt isn't most people.

The source went on, "Brad has always wanted to design his own house. He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept. This is the present to top all presents." Can't really argue with that!

Tell us: What would you do with your very own waterfall?
