You folks are getting your idea of what Christianity means form Bill Maher and not actual Christians. A basic tenet of the Christian Faith is that we all are flawed(sinners), including Carrie Prejean. Anyone who believes they are not flawed, is not a Christian. The question of Carrie's Christianity is not whether she made a mistake in the past, it's where she tries to stand today. God does not expect a Christian to be perfect, he expects them to forgive, ask for forgiveness, to accept him, and to treat others well. While your feelings may have been hurt when she said that she thinks that marriage should be between a man and a woman, the is only expressing a belief not an attacking you. Her saying this is not saying your are evil people and she is perfect, although base on your comment the first part may be true, she is simply expressing he belief on marriage.

I am a Christian, and even with my best efforts I still make mistakes. I always have and always will. But just because I am flawed, does not mean I should stand up an say something is wrong when it obviously is. Like maybe the way all of you folks are acting?

To those who are reveling in how much this hurt her, if she is a Christian she will forgive you. She will understand that you, like her, are flawed. Not important...and the religious issue, well, define religion....she is human like you and me, and the tapes she made were most likely made exclusively for the young man out of love and affection for him, and no one else, how sad the young man has used this for his own gain since her popularity (he prolly asked her to do those things for him and she trusted him....I'm sure others can relate.)
