Don't loose track of who you are

When you get in the dating scene, you come accross many sale's men
and i call them that because you are being sold a certain character
you might even be groomed" by them telling you all the things that others didn't
making it like you're on cloud nine
however don't loose track of who you are!
sometimes people tend to get wrapped up in a bow and forget to remain true to themselves
i have learned from my mistakes
i have discovered that when i date someone exclusively i tend to want to prove to them that i'm unique and that i'm not like the rest
i know that about myself to know now that you should only have to be yourself
and nothing else
but you live and learn that's how you grow
when me and my friends have the talks about dating i hear it over and over how they can't believe they did so much and received not equal
i guess what it comes down to is " what you see is what you get" from the beginning
and it should be equal and if anything amazing from the start
to keep getting that much better
