This just in: George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler have split after dating for two years, according to People.

The reason for the split was Stacy's decision, it seems:
"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago. They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."

I'm sad about the breakup because I really liked Stacy and George together, but I can't say I'm too surprised. George is known for loving his bachelor ways--and it looks like Stacy knew if she wanted more from the relationship, she had to cut ties. If she wants a family, then she made the right decision.
