    In 2006, reports surfaced that Britney Spears, then the biggest star on the planet, demanded a divorce from husband Kevin Federline via text. Federline was taping an interview and the cameraman caught his flustered reaction to the message on tape. Not only was this one of those candid camera moments in reality history, it also set the course of Brit's head-shaving, umbrella-wielding coverage in motion, spiking sales of exclusive Spears photos to a record $40 grand. less

    When Levi Johnston texted Bristol Palin the words " "I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again", nothing would ever be the same--at least for Sarah Palin.



    Since the invention of the text message, significant things have happened. People replaced words like "your" and "for" with "ur" and "4" (props for Levi for spelling out "you").
