Taylor SwiftOn Wednesday, the Boston Herald reported that Conor Kennedy and his girlfriend Taylor Swift crashed Victoria Gifford Kennedy's wedding in Boston over the weekend.
Katie Lee Gifford, step-grandmother of the bride, confirmed the story on Thursday's Today show:
"The truth, because I was there, [is that] Vicki, [my husband] Frank's daughter's account of what happened in Boston is accurate."
Conor was invited to the wedding, but did not RSVP.

Instead, he texted Victoria's mother before the ceremony and asked if he could go.
Kathie added:
"He got in touch with her an hour earlier and said, basically, 'Can I bring my girlfriend? [It was] a beautiful sit-down dinner that had been planned for months."
Conor and Taylor still showed up to the wedding, but briefly exited after they were asked to leave. At the time, Kathie didn't know there was "any drama" going on.
The couple later returned to dance at the reception.
Swift's rep, Paula Erickson, insists the singer was invited and that the bride thanked her for being there.
