    Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Have Already Renewed Their Wedding Vows

    You all remember the Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries wedding, right? Crazy big affair? Happened on August 20? Which was, to be honest, rather recently? Riddle me this, then: Why on earth did Kim and Kris just renew their vows on television?

    You heard me: They renewed their vows, and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, nonetheless. On Tuesday, they swung by the show for an interview intended to air on Wednesday, and while they were there, they went through a mock wedding with Ellen serving as the officiant.

    Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but renewing one's vows is generally reserved for couples that have been married a pretty significant amount of time, right? Say, a decade or two? Kim. You got married A MONTH AND A HALF AGO. You shouldn't feel the need to renew your vows just yet, because you JUST MADE THEM.

    Of course, like everything involved in the Kardashian circus, this was probably a carefully planned (or not-so-carefully, depending on your level of cynicism) media gambit to squash the rumors that there's been trouble in paradise ever since Kim and Kris' wedding. Honestly, I can't even imagine what it would be like to have your entire life be one gigantic PR stunt. How much would that suck? A lot. The answer is a lot.

    Also, get a load of this: During her talk with Ellen afterwards, Kim said that if she had to do it all over again, she'd just elope. Kim, do you know what eloping means? It means running off without telling anyone. You, on the other hand, just had ANOTHER public wedding. ON TV. That is the OPPOSITE of eloping. Just sayin'.

      I wish everyone the best in a marriage, however, the average divorce rate for normal citizens is what, 50% in the first 5 years? These two didn't even date for 6 months before they were married, then add the hollyood aspect........their chances for divorce are probably closer to 60%. I will be shocked if these two make it past two or three years.

      Seriously people? Is your dislike for this man and women so big that it blinded you from seeing that this was OBVIOUSLY a joke? It was done on a talk show by a comedian who jokes a lot on her show. How could you not see that? Come on now, let them enjoy being them and having fun with their marriage with Ellen.

      You know, I absolutely LOVE the Kardashians and even I think this is just ridiculous! I saw the episodes of KUWTK that he was on and he's a douche! I can't believe Kim married him even after he asked Khloe if her marriage was real or for TV. I've seen Khloe and Lamar's show several times and I've seen their tweets. I took a whole semester on body language and there is no way they are faking their love. Kim and Kris however, I'm not so sure about. It's funny how very few people knew who he was then BAM, he gets with Kim and all of a sudden, he's everywhere?? If he truly loved her, he wouldn't treat her family that way. And he wouldn't think Kim was ridiculous for getting upset over losing a $75,000 earring. Um, hello?? He should think she's ridiculous for NOT getting upset over losing a $75,000 earring. Did I mention it was because of him? I think THIS one is the marriage for fame, not Khloe and Lamar's.

      Oh come on, it was just a joke. Ellen is not an officiant. She is a comedian, it was to get some laughs out of people. I thought it was funny.
