They were married the same year and had Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Robert Kardashian Jr. before divorcing in 1990. But after the divorce things got messy when Kris and Robert were on different sides of the infamous OJ Simpson murder trial. Robert sided with his friend OJ, even being one of his defense attorneys, while Kris sided on her slain best friend Nicole Simpson's side, believing OJ to be guilty. Sadly, in 2003, Robert died of esophageal cancer just two months after being diagnosed. less
