The long term relationship activities should be just as fun and exciting as the new relationship activities and both he and she should be spoiling each other...not just him spoiling her.

I love how the beginning relationship is fun and the long-term is boring. not. My bf and I have been together for 3 years and 3 months and we're going out to see a movie and have fun. Just because you've been together longer than 3 months and live together doesn't mean you shouldn't go out on a date and celebrate your relationship. Chances are you spend enough time inside together anyway.

I have and would do anything for my wife. But that road doesn't seem to go both ways. She does not understand that the less she does. The less I do. She already said she didn't get me anything for Valentines Day. I had hers last week. Why try Why bother .

Next Valentine get a present for two so you will enjoy it as equally. My husband is the same way and that what I started doing for valentines and anniversaries - everybody happy and no fights over who is more giving.

the last one for if you are not in a relationship is all wrong this is how it should go:

Morning Greeting: Happy Valentines Day to myself!!! Look in mirror and say how hot you look today.

Freetime: Realize that not only do you not have to buy a gift for any guy but you can spend money on yourself at the a spa or movies or something else.

Dining in: Realizing that most resturaunts will be pack, make a dinner for yourself with candlelights, wine, and a movie. then for dessert, chocolate avalanche lol. chocolate all around.

Closing remarks: Find your best bed friend , plug it in, add batteries, whatever you need and scream the night away.

That is a true valentines day for singles. Yahhhhhhh!!!! :D

A womans guide to Valentines day: Don't sit there with some sense of entitlement, earn his respect and shut up for a change

The real Mans guide to Valentines day... don't be a lap dog and let some woman bark at you your entire life for material trinkets. Live to be a proud independent man and if you find a woman that EARNS your respect and devotion, then material things and dates on a map should mean absolutely nothing
