This season of The Bachelorette has been a whirlwind of tears, roses, and assertions that each guy was obviously "there for the right reasons." There was no shortage of drama, and thankfully the season finale and After the Final Rose special did not disappointment in that department. On the finale, Andi introduced finalists Nick and Josh to her parents and eventually chose Josh as the guy she wanted to spend ever-after with, thoroughly smashing Nick's heart in the process. Nick finally had a chance to confront her on After the Final Rose, and their conversation made my jaw drop. Here are the most intense moments from the final night of this season's The Bachelorette.

Andi Lets Nick Go Early
Andi constantly talked about the extreme level of passion she and Nick shared, making the software salesman a fan favorite from the beginning. Nick was positive Andi was going to become his fiancé, so much so that he asked her parents for permission to propose and even told Andi's mom, "I love her like I've never loved anybody else," which was especially cringe-worthy now that we know she chose Josh. So when Andi showed up to his beachside villa before he gets a chance to get down on one knee, you see his face TOTALLY fall as he realizes he's about to get dumped. On national TV, no less. She cites the nebulous "something isn't right" reason and sends him packing. Josh had always been her type, and Nick just couldn't compete.

Chris Harrison DIDN'T Reveal the Next Bachelor
I'm mad at Chris Harrison. He dangled this announcement in front of us like a juicy carrot, then snatched our hope away by saying we'd find out "later," even though the next person taking the helm is usually revealed on the After the Final Rose special. How am I supposed to get fully excited for the next Bachelor season if I don't know whether I approve of the guy yet?! Rumor has it Farmer Chris from this season is the front-runner, but apparently old favorite Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Emily's season may snag the spot. Either way, I don't like the suspense. I mean, WHAT IF IT WAS JUAN PABLO AGAIN? Chris Harrison is a master at mind games.

Nick Calls Andi Out for Having Sex with Him
I was always skeptical that contestants in this franchise actually had sex in the Fantasy Suites. It just seemed so contrived, and if I were in that position I'd abstain from doing it just because knowing everyone assumed I was getting down would freak me out. But Andi and Nick didn't have those reservations, as we all found out during a seriously shocking moment on After the Final Rose. Nick had tried to get in touch with Andi after he was sent home but apparently she refused him, so this was the first time they could get it all out in the open. "If you weren't in love with me, I'm just not sure why you made love with me," Nick said sadly. Bomb, dropped. Let's just say Andi was not pleased. "That's a little below the belt and should be kept private," she responded before explaining that everything she did and felt was real at the time, but she just connected more with Josh. And so it goes.
