Yes, that sound you heard yesterday was in fact the sound of millions of hearts breaking as news broke that Eva Mendes is seven-months pregnant with Ryan Gosling's baby. After all, it was crushing when they first got together nearly three years ago, but now that the devastatingly attractive couple is expecting a baby, it seems that America's number-one heartthrob is truly, officially, and finally off the market.
But with their baby well on the way, will they be getting married anytime soon? The only thing better than having Gosling all to ourselves would be seeing him become a devoted husband and father, so we had to dig for details of a potential wedding!

In the past, Mendes was open about her ambivalence to marriage and family. But with news of her pregnancy going public, so is her change of heart. A source told People that despite her previous reservations about settling down, "with Ryan things are different...she's very independent but she's content with her partner. She finally found the person she really wants to be with."
In fact, OK! confirms that the duo, who met while co-starring in The Place Beyond the Pines, are equally ready to start a family. "She's been ready for motherhood for a while now and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!" a source said.

"Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he'd be there no matter what. This is it for him," the source continued, while adding, "Eva believes it's important to have their lives fully intertwined."
If these sources are to be believed, then one thing's for sure: These two are in it for the long haul. We have a sneaking suspicion that they'll pull a Brangelina, with kids coming first, followed by a long and happy engagement.
