Have you ever thought back to the moment you first said "I love you" to boy/girl friend/husband/wife. I do all the time. But there is always that moment when you knew, this is the person I want to live with for the rest of my life, I really love this person, and you can't picture a life without them. I remember telling my boyfriend I loved him for the first time months and months ago. Last Friday he left for business and he won't be back till the 30 th , we have never been apart for this long without being able to see each other, last night I was missing him terribly and watching Juno, she was talking to her father about if people can really stay together and he told her; Look, in my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person is still going to think the sun shines out your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with. I so found that person, regardless of how ugly I look or if my bronzer makes me look like kin to an Oompa Loompa, he loves me and thinks I'm beautiful. He has always been there for me and to this day I get butterflies when he kisses me. I went to sleep after Juno, missing him but knowing that this is really love, and i don't think i have ever been anymore satisfied then that very moment.
When was the first time you realized that is was love... REAL love? And what made you realize it?
Quote for thought:
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.
