Vanessa Bryant's Friends Gave Her the Heads-Up About Her Husband's Affairs

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce from her NBA superstar husband Kobe Bryant last week, saying that he had done something she couldn't forgive. That something is apparently a whole bunch of cheating, and here's the kicker: Vanessa found out because of her friends. The wives of other basketball players would hear about Kobe's affairs from their husbands, and instead of keeping a code of silence they banded together to tell Vanessa what was up.

While it sucks for Vanessa to be cheated on and have her marriage fall apart, it looks like something positive has come out of this experience - she knows that her friends are there for her. As much as it sucks to be the one delivering bad news, Vanessa's friends ultimately knew that telling her the truth would empower her to make a decision and not make her feel foolish for standing by someone whose affairs were common knowledge to everyone but her.
