Who's Faking the Most Orgasms in America?

Oh man, will we ever stop tiring of hearing about the sex lives of others? Survey says: doubtful.

OK, the real survey I'm talking about, released yesterday by Trojan, says that while 2/3 of Americans of satisfied with their sex life, 50% still feel it could use a jump start. Evidently Americans are having more sex this year than last year (151 times, up from 120), and 81% of us are looking for ways to make their sex life more exciting (conveniently, Trojan has some ideas for you).

Most interesting to me were the stats comparing sex lives by region--you know I'm always trying to figure out the differences in life in the Midwest versus life in New York. Looks like the Midwest might not be so bad after all. See how your area measures up:

• Midwesterners are the most sexually adventurous, with 60% classifying themselves as such.
• 44% of Southerners have faked an orgasm, and 53% say their sex life needs to be charged (the most in the nation).
• The most sexually "charged" cities in the U.S. are Atlanta and Miami. Atlanta is the most sexually adventurous city, and Miami has the highest rates of sexual satisfaction and sex in the general (177 times a year!).
• Dallas has a confusing sex life. Its residents have the longest sessions in bed at 39 minutes, but they are also most likely to have faked an orgasm.
• Less is more in the Bay Area: Residents there have the least sex (120 times a year) and the shortest sessions (31 minutes) but have the highest rates of satisfaction and are least likely to fake an orgasm.

• Most to least likely to fake an orgasm, according to generation: Millennials (45%), Gen X (45%), Seniors (38%) and Boomers (32%).
• Sexual satisfaction and appetite does appear to go down with age. Seniors have sex 62 times a year compared to 151 for Millenials, and only 53% are satisfied, compared 76$ of Millenials.
