Thanks for this article. Just in time. Lately I've been fidgeting all throughout; wondering how to cope up with so much stress around the neighborhood, inside the church, family concerns, etc that it really gave me the worst headaches. I've been sick since Monday and I couldn't sleep well. Even when I close my eyes, my mind is doing its job: thinking and thinking and thinking..
Honestly, this journal made me feel at ease even for a little while.
      Thanks for this///

It also helps to stop and think, "Okay -- what can I do to remedy this situation at the exact, present moment I am in?" Take control of your situations.

If you're worried about being late and being stuck in traffic, you can either accept the fact that you are stuck and you know better for next time, and learn from the experience, or can attempt to take an alternate route...things like that. Coming from someone who has a HUGE problem with worrying and a pretty big anxiety problem, it really helps!

This article doesn't address the source of your worry, which is INSECURITY. Having a valid concern about future events is natural. "If I don't ace this interview I can't pay the rent." Fixating upon it because you do not believe that you are capable of dealing with the event or it's consequences is not. "I'll never get this job and I'll lose my house because I'm worthless."

It's all about insecurity. You think that you cannot handle this coming event and you do not believe that you will bring positive outcomes. Unless you address the underlying insecurity, you're just going to keep having the anxiety.

I am a person who worries a lot, but I have always been like that. I think that the ideas were great, and I try to not worry as much, and the older I get, the less I care about most miniscule things, so I guess age is helping me not worry as much. I liked this article, better than most ones. Each gray hair makes me just a bit more relaxed... Never thought I would be wishing for a gray hairs.

For some freaky reason, hearing bad news is almost easier than WAITING for news to come in. It's the waiting and anticipation that would like to kill me.

I tend to worry a lot also, as I'm getting older and experiencing failures and mistakes it's allowing my insecurity of not being perfect... to lessen

Worrying hinders a person from focusing on the future. Instead of managing your time in preparing for what you want to be you end up in frustrations with your worries. Let us take all our worries to Jesus Our Savior.

Luka 1:37 "There is nothing impossible with GOD".

      Thanks
