Video: Boys dump flour all over house in an unusually uniformly messy way

Oh boys!

That two little boys could easily make an epic mess with a five-pound bag of flour is a no-brainer, but did they? Viewers are questioning whether or not a recent viral video is legit.

The video is shot from the point of view of their stunned and muttering mom and shows the naughty rug rats frisking in an indoor sandstorm of flour. There's white stuff spread about the floor, couches, and side tables. It is even piled in little drifts on the tops of picture frames.

The house is certainly trashed with what sure looks like real flour. But what's suspicious is how evenly the powdery substance is distributed around the room and how chipper the boys seem--even after they are busted. Anyone who has ever caught a little kid in the middle of some really heinous transgression (or who has been caught themselves) knows how quickly the fun can turn into a blubbering freak out.

Viewers are also suspicious because YouTube has removed comments on the video, but Mary Napoli, the mom behind the video camera, says she removed them on purpose. She assured us that the video is real: "We turned off the comments because they were getting increasingly mean and vulgar." She added, "It's mostly cleaned up now--lol!"

Take a look and tell us what you think.

My toddler girls managed to 'paint' Revlon Red nail polish onto half the living room in the 3-5 minutes I was in the restroom while we were at my parents' home....I was horrified! I totally believe this video is legit. Even though the nail polish incident happened 20 years ago, it is something that stays fresh in my mind, especially now that I have grandkids. You would be surprised at a little kid's stealth and imagination when it comes to 'playing' with stuff that they shouldn't.

When my autistic son was younger he frequently would find the flour, sugar and laundry detergent and dump it all over the floor, Not once did he do it as evenly as it's done in this video. I sure as heck didn't think to video tape it. I cried my eyes out every time. That being said don't know why anyone would do it on purpose. Flour is extremely hard to clean up. I know I've had to do it probably 20 times.

Not sure if this is real or fake but I will say that it IS possible for two little toddlers to do a lot of destruction in a few minutes...how do i know this?? Today my almost 3 year old son and my babysitter's 2 year old son managed to cover her living room with a small bag of baking powder. It almost looked like this room, minus the picture frames, tv, lamp shades, door, etc. The floor and couch look about the same though. LOL Whether it was real or not, this video is quite entertaining. Good thing none of us had to clean that mess up!!!

p.s. why would any mother in the world, do this to her house on purpose?? that would be #$%$ hell & more work.. then she already has!

Hoax!!! Her pants were covered in in too!! You see a glimes of them when she looks down at the floor. And any parent who saw this would be alot more upset then she is in the video.

its not real...its spread too evenly ---there would be large piles...think about it---a 2 year old would dump the WHOLE bag and spread it around in an area---Its on top of the tv, along the window---someone purposely set this up---hate liars---this video will get a ton of views out of curiosity---but this is a no brainer---

Yup, that's the best point right there. A small child will not carefully, evenly spread a FIVE pound (ie, HEAVY) bag of flour all around the living room. It would be dumped in one lump and maybe tracked around a bit.

and how did they get it opened??? those suckers are glued shut

There is a second where it shows her feet and pants. Flour all over her pants which I guess got there from the empty bag? Clearly something is not accurate in this video. Does it even claim that it is real time?

Her first "what are you doing" sounds extremely rehearsed.

I also have a very hard time believing a 5 year old is going to lug a 5 lb. bag of flour out of the kitchen, into the living room, then pour it on every surface in the room.

Who said he is five years old?

just HOW did they spread it to the top of the couch, windowns...etc. Looks completely staged to me. It can't be authentic...mom didn't even blow her stack!
  • McGhee  •  6 months ago
Her reaction is very calm and the boys don't seem to have any sense of right and wrong or fear of doing wrong whatsoever. If this wasn't staged then this mother is not doing a very good job teaching her kids about acceptable behavior and consequences.
  • Pinky  •  6 months ago
No she's way to calm and they are not acting suspicious enough. My toddler knows when she has been bad and made a mess. She would never ask what is wrong, she would know exactly what she had done and try to hide it from me.
  • Jessica Gullasch  •  6 months ago
    Totally staged
  • Marie  •  6 months ago
I don't know much about kids, but if my dogs did this they would be looking guilty as homemade sin. I wouldn't even have to say a word. I call fake.
  • Reverend Ned Flander  •  6 months ago
How long was she in the bathroom? Like three hours? I cannot see how two kids would make such a mess in a short amount of time
  • Josh Simplice  •  6 months ago
no way, no how, the toddlers did not do it. There was no shock, no expression of surprise in the mom's voice.
  • Yuki  •  6 months ago
How'd they get the flour in the first place? And how did they move a 5lb bag of it no less?
  • Pat  •  6 months ago
I think mama did it to get on YouTube!!! Did you notice her pants covered in flour???
  • kaftangirl  •  6 months ago
Fake, fake, fake, no way no how these two little kids spread the flour on top ot the windows, back of the couch...!! Indeed how long was she in the bathroom...
