After stumbling on this Time Out New York listing for Voca People, a new kid's show featuring adults pretending to be musically gifted aliens, it occurred to me: we need to go over the list of what's scary again. First on the list: weird, full body face paint, which masks the gender, identity and eyebrows of a group of people. Those red lips don't do anyone any favors either. No offense to the Voca People, I'm sure they mean well, and they're not alone in misunderstanding their main demographic.
