One thing I'm considering when looking for a Halloween costume is using our favorite story books as an inspiration. My daughter and I love reading together - snuggling on the couch on a rainy fall day with a great book is our idea of a wonderful afternoon. It's almost as if the familiar characters are part of our family. Why not use Halloween as an excuse to bring one of our favorite characters to life? Here are 7 great costumes that do just that. - By Mary Weimer
