    Make sure your sitter knows the lay of the land. Show them your kid's rooms and where all of the necessities are. Show them the room they are staying in so that they can make themselves comfortable. It's important for them to be comfortable in your home so that your kids will feel comfortable while you are gone.

    My husband and I are celebrating our 5-year anniversary this weekend and he surprised me by booking us a hotel right here in NYC for a little staycation. I don't even remember the last time that we had a weekend to ourselves, so needless to say, I'm pretty excited.
