    Bobbi Kristina Brown Hospitalized Briefly After Whitney Houston's Death

    Whitney Houston, dead at the age of 48, with daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.Whitney Houston, dead at the age of 48, with daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center just a day after news broke of her mother's death at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, father Bobby Brown confirmed in a statement. Bobbi Kristina was released later in the day.

    Cause for hospitalization has not yet been confirmed. ABC reports that she was suffering from stress and anxiety, while TMZ cites a source that says she was "awake and alert" but also "hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable."

    Hours after Houston died, Bobbi Kristina reportedly shouted at police officers outside the hotel room where her mother was found dead. Officers say no one was permitted to see the body, including Bobbi Kristina and Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick, TMZ reports.

    Bobbi Kristina's father, R&B icon Bobby Brown, left a reunion tour with New Edition and returned to Los Angeles.

    "Just say a prayer for my daughter, say a prayer for her mother, and if you find the time please say a prayer for me because I am going to need it," Bobby Brown said, asking for privacy while his daughter recovers and grieves with him and their family.

    Family friend and singer Kim Burrell had been with Bobbi Kristina at the hotel after her mother died and that she was naturally overwhelmed -- not just for herself but also for how much it would impact Houston's fans. Burrell told reporters from the red carpet of the Grammys, where the music legend was honored, that Brown will be taken care of by loved ones.

    "Bobbi Kristina has a huge heart, just like her mother," Burrell said. "She loves hard. She's going to be OK and we're going to see to it."

    Bobbi Kristina, an aspiring singer, performed with her mother on "Good Morning America." Her cover of an Adele song on YouTube has garnered more than 100,000 views.

    Brown also appeared on the family's reality show "Being Bobby Brown," where she was portrayed in the middle of many of her parents' heated arguments. Her parents divorced in 2007.

    Whitney Houston spoke openly with Oprah Winfrey about her battles with addiction, and the strength of her relationship with her daughter and mother.

    The cause of Whitney Houston's death is yet to be released.

      R.I.P.You 'll can say that drugs kill Whitney.No it was her time to leave this World.GOD will must be Done.When it is our time we have to leave this old sinful world. I just hope that Whitney was ready to meet with our Lord and Jesus Christ.People please stop all of the talking about Drugs killed her,and just pray for the family and keep them in prayer.Bobbi Kristina just keep the faith and the more you be around strong people like Kim Burrell and all of the others and GOD you will be alright. I had to Pray and asked to help me because my heart was broken ever since Saturday after I heard about Whitney,but after I begin to Pray then I felt better.Please People stop all talking and let Whitney rested in peace.

      my heart goes out to bobbi kristina. losing a parent is hard enough, but to lose one in such a horrific way and at a young age has to be devastating. i hope that she is allowed to mourn in private with her family and loved ones.

        If a person is around drugs,they will not do it unless they have done it before. I don't smoke,drink alcohol or do street drugs and I'm not tempted by those things. I pray that The LORD sends someone into Bobbie Kristina's life that will be a wonderful mentor and encourage her Not to get involved in Drugs and Alcohol.

      gone too soon...we love you WHITNEY HOUSTON we never gave up on you my heart go out to the mother i no losing a child can be very painful i no god no i lose my son 10-17 2010 in car accident 24yr. old it not easy it was the painful think i every had to do was burden my son love you BOBBIE KRISTINA I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU AND THE MOTHER AND THE FAMILY REMEMBER GOD...       She looks like her mom. She has her eyes and smile and her dad's nose. I hope nothing but happiness for her. I can't imagine loosing a mom,I don't think I'll be able to move on faster.

      God has his hands on you and your family. We are all morning, and praying for your loving lost, and family members to have strength. You all can get through this. I no the feelings, and pains, and heavy heart, cause I lost my only sister in high school, and later years my dad, and 6-months later my mom. God always no what he is doing. He makes no mistakes.         Know that Whitney was a gift from God, with her beautiful voice of song (an instrument from God); who touched so many lives within her lifetime. She will truly be missed and always live within our hearts. Her music will live on forever and continue to touch the lives of many.

      No one really knows but God what happen, and if you -all can't say anything uplifting to Bobbi Kristina and the Houston family dont say anything @ all b/c we have got to give in account of every idle word we udder out of our mouth. I lost my mother 6 months after entering this world and today I yet have a hard time coping with Mother's Day.
      I am 54yrs old, but God is right beside me every step of the way had it not been for his goodness, grace and mercy I would not be here today b/c I wanted to exchange my life so that my mother can live and be here with my brother, people the bible say the strong has to bare the imformity of the weak so lets keep them in prayer to God be the Glory!

        Stella,, I hope that I'm misunderstanding the comment about "her ex-hubby". Bobby Brown wasn't blame for Whitney's down-fall in her life. He never held a gun to her head to make her do anything wrong. There is a lot of negative-things being said about B.Brown, why can't you let this 'man' mourn in peace, also....!!!????
