Donate a Dress for Prom Season at a Saks Near You!

DonateMyDress.org is teaming up with Saks Fifth Ave to collect prom dresses in their stores nationwide, starting this Saturday! All dresses will be donated to community organizations in the DMD network that help prom-goers in need. Besides knowing you've helped a girl go to prom looking fabulous, there's also 20% off a new dress in it for you, or your daughter as she shops for prom.

If you live near New York City, bring your Twilight-loving teen to the kick-off event at the flagship Saks Fifth Ave. store. Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the hit book and movie, will be on hand to offer prom style tips and share her own prom memories. Her own prom dress didn't quite meet the approval of her parents -- read about it here -- so you might want to ask her yourself how to compromise with your teen. Granted, shopping with her at Saks gives you a great chance to influence her pick!
