Ok. My daughter is 15 and going on 16. She sat me down and expressed her wishes for an 11pm summer curfew Monday - Sunday. She said all of her friends have that curfew. I reminded her that she is not her friends and I will need to think about this. She is a good kid. All A's in school, cheerleader and all around sweet girl. I haven't had any problems with her so far. I know it is to come. LOL. I personally think 11pm Monday -Sunday is nuts. What are they going to do with all this time? What about family? During the school year I let her stay out until 8:45pm two nights a week when she has school. The other school nights she must be home. Then on Friday and Saturday it is 11:45pm but I must know where she is and what she is doing. I defiantly know her version of an appropriate curfew is wrong. I just am not sure what is right. So here is my questions. What is an appropriate curfew for a 15-16 year old girl? How many days a week do I let her go out? What did you do with your kids? Don't get me wrong, I know I am the boss of her. She does not tell me what to do. I just need some advice from my fellow women.
