Lena Fokina Calls it "Baby Yoga," I Call it Child Endangerment

Lena Fokina calls it Lena Fokina calls it Sometimes I toss my 6-month-old baby around. And by toss her around, I mean I pretend to throw her in the air while she giggles uncontrollably, or I roll her around in my arms while covering her with kisses from head to toe as she squeals with delight.

Beyond that, I am meticulously and diligently gentle with my 6-month-old baby. Because she's a 6-month-old baby. She can easily break, after all. And it's my job to make sure that doesn't happen. This is not a joke: I protect her with all my might. The idea of putting her in harm's way, and at my own hands no less, makes me want to not live anymore. This is not a joke.

That's why people like Lena Fokina suck. Hard. She's the idiot who twirled and slung a 2-week-old baby from side to side last year. The video went viral, but the public shame of her actions didn't make her slink off and hide. I know this because she's back and swinging more babies in a new video, according to CBS News. She claimed last year that baby yoga "gave children a boost in life."

The new video shows Fokina teaching parents in Egypt the "art" of baby yoga by dangling them by an arm or leg. Never mind Shaken Baby Syndrome. Never mind what could happen if you drop your baby. One of Fokina's student said, "I think this is the best thing I can do to improve my child's health." This is not a joke. And it is beyond sick.

It's stories like this that make me wonder how anyone can ever be against birth control (to prevent people like Fokina from being born, not the precious babies whom she heartbreakingly lobs around as if they are tennis balls).

Take a look, if you can stomach it. (Seriously - this is a warning - the video is really upsetting.)
