    Watching prom movies with your teen: What's your favorite on-screen prom moment?

    Whether your own prom was 5 years ago or 15, let's admit it: We're all a sucker for a good prom scene on the TV or movie screen. MyPromStyle.com and Seventeen.com compiled a list of the 17 Best Prom Scenes that we think teens today would love -- flicks as recent as "Twilight" and as classic as "Pretty in Pink."

    The one prom scene that always stuck with me was from "Saved by the Bell," the sitcom I grew watching (and still watch on TBS when I'm at the gym running on the treadmill!) High school sweethearts Zach and Kelly danced outside the high school gym (yeah, forget the fancy hotel) at their own picnic prom, created by Zach when he found out Kelly couldn't afford the costs of prom because of her dad's lay-off...a situation that sadly is more relevant in 2009 than ever before.

      Pretty in Pink was SO influential on my dreams of prom from when I saw it first in junior high. I would love to watch this with my daughter when she's at that age (she's only 2 now). OMG I can't imagine what she'd think. She'd prob hate Andy's dress! Or maybe Andy was ahead of her time?

      Wow, well of the choices above, I'd have to go with the prom scene from "10 Things I Hate About You." I love that movie, and the prom scene was pretty good. I haven't actually seen a lot of those scenes. The other ones I recognized were from "Saved by the Bell," "Twilight," "Never Been Kissed," "Mean Girls," and "She's All That." I used to watch "Buffy" and "Dawson's Creek" but never saw the prom episodes, I don't think. I remember that episode from Season 1 of "Buffy" with the dance on the same day as when the Hell Mouth opens, but I don't think that was a prom, was it?

      The scene from "Mean Girls" is certainly the one that turns out the best and has the best message for girls today.

      Anyway, my own proms were good, and I wouldn't relate them to any of those on the big screen. There isn't usually that much drama at the prom in real life. I'll just hope my daughter(s) have a good time at prom.

      Hey, what about the prom from "The Brady Bunch Movie" when Davy Jones shows up and all the teachers go nuts over him? Ha, ha.

      I didnt really like Pretty in Pink too much. I didnt go to my junior or senior prom either.
