6 Good Reasons Why Cats Make Better Pets Than Dogs
Yes, I am probably biased toward cats. I have already admitted that I am dangerously close to being a 'crazy cat lady,' but I think it's for good reason - there is just way too much awesome about cats. Growing up, I had both dogs and cats around, and I have always loved cats far more than dogs. There has been this age-long feud between cat and dog lovers over which is the superior pet, and I will always and forever answer that with cat. Here are 6 good reasons why cats make better pets than dogs:
1. You Don't Have to Walk Them
Unlike dogs who need to be walked outside, cats don't make you go out 2-3 times a day when it's too hot or too cold.
2. They Go to the Bathroom By Themselves
Cats are smart enough to be able to use the washroom. They don't need to be let out to do on the ground for you to pick up.

3.They Don't Need a Lot of Room
Dogs take up a lot of room -- from a bed to toys and lots of food. Cats, all they need is the top of a couch to sit on.
4. They Like to Be Left Alone
Dogs always want your attention, even when you don't have the time. Cats like to be left alone and will seek you out less often for cuddles.

5. They Don't Bark
Dogs are so loud, so loud! When cats are angry, they hiss, which is quite quiet.
6. They Catch Mice
Cats are handy to have around to catch any mice or birds that may be bothering your house. Dogs would probably just make friends with them.
