Just look at those eyes

I want a dachshund. For years now, I've swooned over those little-legged creatures on the street with their adorable faces and confident strides. But after having a chihuahua for the past five years, I was really longing for a big dog, so about a year ago we adopted a black lab. She is beautiful; both our dogs are incredibly sweet, actually, and I wouldn't trade them ever for anything…but I still want a dachshund, too!
Our fur-covered pets already consist of three cats and two dogs, and I'm not sure we'll add another any time soon. But when the time comes, I am surely getting a floppy-eared, cute-faced dachshund.
