    Had you heard about Affenpinschers before Banana Joe, the dog that took the Best In Show award at the 137th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show this past Tuesday? I hadn't either. In fact, at first I found them comical looking, and not what I would have expected from a Best in Show pooch. However, the judges thought differently and handed the highest honor to 5-year-old Banana Joe V Tani Kazaril, affectionately known as Banana Joe. I am beginning to think that the more you look at him, the cuter he gets. I also decided to set out and learn more about this little known breed and compiled a list of facts about this popular pooch's history.
