Who needs bowties? Maybe the best accessory for a shirtless man is a kitten.

Move over, Chippendales dancers. Meet the men of the Kittendales calendar.

The 2014 edition is the seventh annual calendar featuring "kitties and hotties" to raise money for the Hull Seaside Animal Rescue (HSAR) in Massachusetts. The calendars sell for $20 each, plus $5 shipping and handling in the U.S.

Men from this beach town pose for photographer Joanne Berman with kittens who are available for adoption at the non-profit cat shelter. And all of the money raised goes to the no-kill cat shelter and the medical needs of the cats there.

"This is a 100 percent volunteer project and every penny raised goes directly to the shelter for the care of the cats," said Berman. "We've had orders as far away as the United Kingdom and Wellington, New Zealand."

HSAR was started in 1999 by a group of citizens who were concerned about the large number of feral cat colonies in town. Earlier this year, the group rescued its 1,000 th cat.

Since the first edition of the calendar, more than 70 men and 85 kittens have been featured in its pages.
