An amazing photographer Sarah Beth, from Minneapolis, MN has been offering a unique service she calls "Joy Sessions" under her distinctive pet photography business Sarah Beth Photography. And when I saw her photos, I instantly fell in love. Joy Sessions began almost 4 years ago and it was inspired by a black lab service dog named Joy, who Sarah Beth met when she was commissioned to photograph her owner Joan, who didn't have much time left on this earth. Sitting and talking with Joan, who shared her incredible bond and love for her service dog Joy, an idea sparked. Sarah Beth decided to offer end-of-life photography sessions, which highlight the relationship between human and elderly or terminally ill pets. These sessions, according to Sarah Beth, "really are for people who want to celebrate the happiness - the joy - their pets have brought to their lives," and her images capture this joy and happiness so beautifully.
