Although the dogs are indeed au natural, the "pinups" in the pictures are wearing clothes. Pinups for Pitbulls (PFPB) is a not-for-profit organization started in 2005 by Deirdre "Little Darling" Franklin. Deirdre used her background in modeling and her education in fine arts to create a pinup calendar as a way to raise funds to help pitbulls. The organization, whose motto is "Take My Leash, Not My Life," was started when Franklin realized how many pitbulls and pitbull-type dogs were being euthanized in shelters and rescues. These dogs were happy, healthy and very adoptable, but weren't wanted because of their breed. PFPB's goal is to educate the public about the American Pit Bull Terrier and other similar dogs and to raise awareness about Breed-Specific Legislation and abuse.
