With bright-colored feathers and sometimes even brighter personalities, parrots are tough not to love. Although I'd be reluctant to bring one into my home as a pet, the opportunity to teach one to say fun, crowd-pleasing phrases would make me consider doing so. In particular, if I had a parrot, I'd want it to learn phrases beyond the typical "I love you" and "hello," and I'd encourage it to make fun at other people's expense.
