The Yube. You've probably seem similar offerings before, but these stackable modular furniture cubes are the only ones that are "practically edible." OK -- they're not really edible (don't eat them!), but the outer panels are made out of sugarcane. Once the sweet juice is extracted, rather than disposing of the remaining fiber as waste, it's pulped for reuse and pressed into boards. The frames of the Yube... more

The frames of the Yube are made with "woodlite," a proprietary compound of non-toxic moldable plastic mixed with bamboo (a great, renewable resource).
