'90s Trends We're Doing Better Today

From turtlenecks to hair accessories, there are some '90s trends that just won't die. Luckily for us, fashionable women the world over are breathing new life in to previously awful looks. Modernized and updated, these are the styles that we're doing better in 2013. Don't let anyone ever say we're not making progress.

Then: Turtlenecks - We suppose the white turtleneck peeking out from under country singer Reba McEntire's sweater isn't THE most offensive part of her look (we're looking at you, permed, teased, semi-mullet from 1991), but it certainly isn't a highlight. The shapeless, folded neck was typical of the early '90s. Awfully, awfully typical.
