With treacherous statement shoes dominating the retail shelves, walkable heels are increasingly hard to find. Well, apparently there are still some sensible stars out there! Kathy Ireland and Sarah Jessica Parker have answered our high heel prayers with their own comfortable shoe lines. Women's Wear Daily reports that the supermodel supermogul and "Sex and the City" actress will both be releasing footwear collections for the spring of 2015 and 2014, respectively. Awesome, but we can't wait that long. We reached out to Meghan Cleary, footwear expert and author of "Shoe Are You?" to help us track down heels that straddle what she refers to as the "style/comfort spectrum we all walk along as women." Here are the most wearable pairs on the market today.

The top 17 summer fashion DON'Ts - Fri, Jun 14, 2013 11:38 AM EDT | CommentsWe hear all the time about fights and breakups between celebrities in Hollywood. I actually cringe when I hear about celebrity feuds. However, when I hear about famous friends I get a bit giddy. Stars! They are just like us! Sure, there are those slap-dash famous friendships that seem as fleeting as the length of the shoot of the film, but many celebrity friends seem to have begun at the very start of careers and have lasted through some pretty tumultuous times. My newest favorite pair of famous friends is Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, who are staring in the FIRST EVER FEMALE BUDDY COP MOVIE. The two had never met before starting work on The Heat, but genuine instant friendship happened - and that just makes me all warm and fuzzy.
