Ah, sanity. It can be so aesthetically limiting. Thankfully, not everyone feels bound by its strictures. Ever the trend-setting bunch, some of Hollywood's brightest stars-and many more of its dimming ones-have boldly sacrificed the purported virtue in the name of head-turning style. This season, we're ripping a page out of their medical records and showcasing these definitively #winning looks. Reese Witherspoon, we hope you're taking notes.

The art of the voice-over is an interesting one. Many times, you'll recognize the voice but you'd never be able to point out the person attached to said voice in a line-up. There are certain vocal performances in Disney classics - such as Belle in Beauty in the Beast and Alice in Alice in Wonderland - that are forever embedded in our minds and memories. But we often have no real world reference as to who the performer is. And in other cases, Disney casts A-list talent, but the story is so strong that you completely forget that such a super star is behind the character on the screen. We've complied a list of Disney characters alongside their real life vocal counterparts from John Travolta to Paige O'Hara to Tate Donovan. - Wed, Jun 12, 2013 1:32 PM EDT | CommentsI have never really seen or understood the fascination with hedgehogs and over the past few years, their popularity has been on the rise. I've never met one and didn't realize just how similar they could be to other animals in respect to personality and enriching our lives until I came across something on Instagram, where an account called "Biddy the Hedgehog" piqued my interest. Biddy is a 2-year old male African Pygmy hedgehog who goes on amazing adventures with the help of his people parents Thomas and Toni. It's easy to understand how Biddy went from 208 followers to over ten thousand in just three days, because I guarantee you will fall in love and follow quickly once you browse through a few of his fun and adorable photos!

The 12 most unusual family pets from around the world - Wed, Jun 12, 2013 1:34 PM EDT | CommentsI tend not to pay too much attention to articles about fashion DOs and DON'Ts. However, a recent Babble post called 25 Fashion Mistakes Moms Make caught my attention. I was intrigued, because I figured I had to be making at least half of those mistakes on any given Monday. So I checked it out. (Turns out I make more like 17 fashion mistakes on the daily.) Basically, the gist of the post is that new moms need to cover up all that baby weight. I turn 40 next week. This is not middle school. I'm pretty sure my friends aren't giving me the side-eye, thinking, "wow, she'd be so much cooler if she wore jeans that were more slimming" or "ugh, how can she show that arm flab?" For this post, I thought I'd share some of my own personal failings to make everyone else feel better about their "mistakes." I didn't even have to look very far: these are all just photos I had handy. Pretty much every photo of me in existence shows me making at least three "mom fashion mistakes." So enjoy my fails! I suspect I'm in good company.

13 horrible fashion trends that need to disappear this year - Wed, Jun 12, 2013 1:18 PM EDT | CommentsBeing a mom is hard work. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a mom with a 9 -5 job, or a work-at-home mom -every mom has her challenges. I will admit though, sometimes I think being a work-at-home mom has some of the trickiest challenges. There is always a feeling looming overhead that you're not really doing ANYTHING well - there are days (even weeks) when I feel like I am doing a total crap job at everything. Sometimes I'm barely keeping my head about water with work deadlines, not paying enough attention to my child, my house is a disaster, I've eaten nothing but granola bars for days and my husband has gotten little more than a quick hug goodbye from me for the day. At times I feel like I am a jack of all trades, but master of none. I'm sure all moms feel like this sometimes, but that doesn't make it any easier. Over time though, I've come up with some tactics that have really helped me to increase my work productivity and also helped me find a bit more balance on the home front. I wanted to share them with you in hopes that it would give you a bit of inspiration and if you're anything like me, some much-needed help. - By Lauren Hartmann

The aesthetic of broadcast journalism has come a long way. No longer slaves to pancake makeup or dizzying pinstripes, these wee-morning anchors and nightly newscasters stay current in fitted sheaths, sumptuous jewel tones, and, yes, even the occasional pantsuit. We're comfortable saying this on the record: the news has never looked so good.
