Are you ready? The heat is coming! I think it's about time I shared the best summer fabrics with you. Believe me, the right fabrics can make all the difference in the world! Temperatures are definitely rising here in Los Angeles, and I can't stand the heat. I really can't! Unfortunately I can't be at the beach and in my swimwear 24 hours a day, so I try to find the most lightweight and airy fabrics for my summer outfits. I recently bought a pair of linen pants, and I was shocked by how cool they kept me in 100+ degree weather. Seriously…it blew my mind! When you go shopping, you might want to be on the lookout for fabrics that will not only keep you cool, but provide comfort as well. Summer is coming up and I have been prepping my make up bag. Here is what I need in the summer: a good retin-A cream to wear under tinted moisturizer (the two together are somehow a dream come true), a brow powder/gel kit to keep my mustache eyebrows groomed in place (plus a little pencil to fill in this one strange gap I seem to have made on my left eyebrow, what happened there?), an all-day eyeliner followed by a real good plumping mascara, and just the lightest swipe of a bronzer/blusher duo in a real good peachy color. Nothing else. Ya really gotta let your freckles and natural summer glow sing while ya can, is how I figure. Last week I highlighted some of the best 24-hour budget eyeliners, but I have to say, in my experience nothing beats the Stila All Day Waterproof Liner.
