If you're going the blood-sucking vampire route with Vampire Diaries, True Blood or Twilight in mind, don't leave your digits out of the fun. Instead, steal the look we saw at Prabal Gurung, where the nails literally looked like there were dipped in blood.

Manicurist Tracylee created the look with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Angel Bite, using a striper brush to paint the drips onto bare fingernails. And while this nail art looks almost impossible to do at home, it's not.

DIY by using a burgundy nail polish to paint a French manicure on your tips. Let it dry. Then, dip the brush into the paint again, getting enough on the end so that you have a dot that's about to drip off. Next, apply the drop to the middle of your nail, gently lifting and dragging the paint to the tip of your nail, creating a tear drop effect. This is what makes it appear like the blood is dripping. Repeat for a more dramatic effect.
