The legendary tennis ace was undergoing a routine mammogram in January 2010 when she was found to have breast cancer. The diagnosis was followed by surgery to remove the tumor in March and radiation therapy in May. Navratilova didn't let breast cancer cramp her style, though. By December of the same year she was hiking her way to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in the African continent.
