Costume Designer Annie Symons Talks Starz's "Da Vinci's Demons"
We spoke with award-winning designer Annie Symons on her new show, Starz's upcoming historical drama "Da Vinci's Demons." The show chronicles the life of a young Leonardo Da Vinci in Renaissance era Florence, as he struggles with his own genius and tries to stay alive, all while seducing the alluring but duplicitous Lucrezia Donati. While stars Tom Riley and Laura Haddock gorgeous and talented human beings, Symons' designs--period costumes with modern flourishes--are the real stars.
