If I close my eyes, I could totally describe in detail the boxes used for Girl Scouts cookies (well, at least my favorite - Thin Mints). But I won't be seeing that box this upcoming cookie season. Not that I won't be buying them, it's just that they'll have a brand new box. Yes, the Girl Scouts cookie boxes will have a brand new look. It's been a while; the last box redesign was in 1999. "We have more than 50 million cookie customers across the country, and the cookie box is the most tangible and powerful way for us to communicate directly with consumers," said Girl Scouts of the USA Chief Executive Anna Maria Chávez. The new look will highlight and illustrate five important skills: "goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics," the Associated Press reports. The boxes will show girls doing such activities as working in a park, doing some kayaking, and speaking to other scouts.
