What: T-shirts, tanks and, new for fall, paper-thin cashmere sweaters in sophisticated, muted hues with subtle touches like ruched shoulders.
Who: Even with the dozens of designer T-shirt brands in stores, Anthony Melillo, former creative director of Generra, felt something was missing. "There are people that make a ripped tee really well, or a sloppy T-shirt or a tighter fitting type of basic," he says. "I saw the hole as being something always in the casual sense, but a little sexier than the average T-shirt, with a little more attitude."
Why: Vogue editors have been spending their summers in ATM T-shirts because of the way they hang on the body, communicating ease and elegance.
When/Where: Now exclusively at Barneys New York.
