First we were taught to believe in fairy tales, then we were taught to question them. Will and Kate are our first contemporary example of true royal love. Just a trifle of PDA between the couple can release our collective oxytocin. Remember Barbara Walters screaming for them to kiss on a balcony? Two years later, Italy and France are in a diplomatic dispute with Britain thanks to a few creepy shots of the couple on holiday. What is driving our desire to track their lives? We require constant proof that they're living happily ever after. If we can't have that, then proof that their not will suffice.
