2. Sweep the color along your top lash line, then blend it up to your lid's crease without re-dipping your brush in the shadow. With colored shadow, the trick is to keep it slightly sheer so your lids don't look heavy. (Unless you have dark skin, in which case, work a deeper plum shade into your creases.)

3. Bold shadow on its own can make your eyes seem smaller, so add a few coats of black mascara to your lashes to ground the look.
