Directions
1. Using a tape measure or straightedge, draw chalk guidelines (3 parallel to top, 3 parallel to left side) to mark your pattern.
2. Tear off a piece of red duct tape about 4" longer than the short edge of the doormat. Adhere it to the center line at the left edge of the mat; fold the excess under the mat.
3. Snip the end of the white duct tape at its middle. Tear the tape from that point (it should tear cleanly in half lengthwise) to make 2 thinner pieces of tape about 4" longer than the short edge of the mat. Adhere one piece along the line to the left of the red tape; fold the excess under. Do the same with the remaining piece, adhering it to the right of the red tape.
4. Repeat Step 3 at the long edge of the mat, adhering white tape to the outer lines.
5. Repeat Step 2 at the long edge of the mat, adhering red tape to the center line.
