Pairing gold and silver shadows sounds frightening, but at Gianfranco Ferré, makeup artist Benjamin Puckey made the surprising combination look beautiful. He used three different metallic shades and lots of black liner. He started by lining the top lashes with black gel and bringing it under the lower lashes slightly. On the inner half of the lids (not the inner corners), he brushed on a light bronze shadow. On the outer half of the eye he dusted a darker bronze shadow, which he also smudged under the entire lower lash lines. Then he dabbed silver pigment in the inner corners. Lashes were curled and coated in black mascara, and while he toned down the lips with concealer (which is more Star Trek than chic), we suggest topping them with sheer nude gloss.
