Step 2: Brighten your skin
When applying blush, Nelson says to start on the apple of the cheek like he did here on Kate Beckinsale. "I start about two fingers out from the nose and lightly brush it up against the cheekbone into sort of an upside down triangle shape where you get that natural flush."If you prefer using bronzer, Nelson recommends using a big soft powder brush to apply. "Swirl it in the product, tap it off, and place it on the middle of your forehead. Sweep it on the outer edge of your face down onto the cheekbone, and then from the back of the cheekbone down on the jawline making a "3". You want to put it where the light naturally hits. If there's anything left on your brush you can put it on your nose for a more realistic look." Whichever product you use, Nelson suggests a something with sheen that will highlight the skin.
