Trayce Johnson I'd like to introduce you to our dog. This is Emma, our 6-month-old boxer. Emma loves to sing for her supper, and she does a handful of tricks: Emma can sit, roll over, stay, sit pretty and my favorite: Walk like an Egyptian. In this trick, she spreads out all four legs and crawls across the floor.
Emma is also our guard dog. Whenever a stranger comes over, she licks them into submission. So, heed the warning, all you intruders. She is also our personal bed warmer. On these long cold nights, you can find her curled up with her favorite Teddy Bear, Baby. Of course, Baby has had to have several operations to repair all the loving she receives from her bedtime buddy.
She steals the stage at our house, most of our socks, and somehow along the way she has stolen our hearts. There is never a dull moment when she is around. Or a quiet one, for that matter. She snores in the ships sailing home-- even though we live eight hours from the nearest shore. Still, we give Emma four paws up.
