When Comet was first adopted, he had some behavior issues. He was skeptical of people and very possessive of food, suggesting past abuse and neglect. However, it didn't take him long to bounce back and become one of the friendliest dogs I've ever seen. He made the perfect companion for his owner: He was always ready to play and eager for love. He was a quick learner and excelled at agility courses. That's why Comet should be Best in Show; he was a great companion.
It’s heartbreaking that many rescue dogs like him are abandoned and euthanized while breeders and puppy mills continue to purposely breed purebred dogs to sell. Just look at that face; Comet is proof that rescue dogs have so much love to give!
