Photographer's Lunar Series Is Out-of-This-World Awesome
Once a month, the moon is full and offers 22-year-old photographer Adrian Limani the perfect setting for some spectacular shots. Limani, who is Albanian and lives in Kosovo, transforms the clichéd travel photos that tourists take — you know, like pretending to hold up the Leaning Tower of Pisa or putting the Eiffel Tower in the palm of your hand — into ethereal works of art by using the moon in similarly playful ways, creating incredible scenes. He uses his brother as a model, lining him up in just the right light to look like he's literally playing with the moon. Limani tells Yahoo Shine that the collection is an attempt to express himself through his imagination, but he also combines his dreams with tangible things he loves, like soccer and basketball (and the moon's perfectly round shape certainly lends itself to mimicking a ball).
