Glammed up for the 2012 Oscars, Dobrev's locks, despite appearing somewhat ringlet-like, are actually braided. To replicate the style, make a low, smooth ponytail. Thicken it with a ponytail hair extension, braiding the fake hair into your existing ponytail. Secure with an elastic band.
